Before looking up search frequencies and competition we
do create a list of relevant phrases. So that we can
have a long list of potential targets, a list that will
grow further as we look into their search frequencies.
And than we determine their search frequency by using
couple of popular keyword tool in the industry and
couple of very useful tools developed by our own
technical development team. We identify most frequently
searched keyword phrases as our primary target and less
frequently searched phrases as secondary phrases.
Than we decide a competition score for each keyword and
than try to find out those keywords, which have high
search frequency but low competition on SERPs (but, its
not easy every time). Such keywords are the most ideal
target phrases if they fit well with the theme of the
website..
